Not just a retelling of the classic Medusa story, Stone Blind elegantly weaves through a plethora of Greek myths, from the inception of Athene to long after Perseus is dead and gone. Told from the perspective of so many characters (including Medusa's snakes!) each character is given such a unique voice their struggles are made much more poignant. As someone familiar with the myths, this book was a joy to read, but would also be very approachable for someone who knows nothing about them
